The trunk could be opened either using the button. When i go to start my car sometimes when i go to turn the key in the ignition it stops about halway through locks my key in the ignition and shuts down everything. Well i left something on over night and of course the battery went dead. Also i see that some have gotten their fixed with a recall yet when i look up the recalls for the 2007 chevy cobalt i don t see the recall for it.

Had to go under the steering wheel and release my key before we could even jump start the car. I received the recall but haven t taken the time to get it answered by a verified chevy mechanic.
